Regenerative Farm

Our clients approached us regarding the need for a modern and sustainable Farmhouse for a new regenerative farm they are setting up in Suffolk.

With sustainability at its core, we are proposing natural materials wherever possible, air-source heat pump, and MVHR systems internally for heating and ventilation, plus the building will be built on screw pile foundations to reduce its impact on the ground.

The concept for the design looked to draw on the low-lying forms and uncomplicated shapes evident on site. Material use also reflects what exists, with particular reference being made to the use of corrugated materials as well as timber, which will weather into the surrounding trees.

This scheme has received planning permission and we are looking forward to seeing it start on site.
